The aims of Radiometric and Calibration Working Group is
(1) to develop radiometric calibration coefficients using instrument team derived onboard calibration coefficients together with vicarious and cross calibration data,
(2) to develop radiometric correction algorithms,
(3) and is to verify the aforementioned coefficients and algorithms.
In collaboration with the US ASTER science team, the WG plans and conducts joint field campaigns for EOS cross (MISR, MODIS) and vicarious calibration for improvement of the accuracy of cross and vicarious calibration methods.
